Oriyomi said that the defendant intentionally sent Nood pictures and videos of a 24-year-old lady, Moshood Funmilayo, to her friends, family and social media. “After telling him, he threatened to ruin her life and later posted her Nood pictures to her friends and family on Whatsapp,” the prosecutor said. According to him, the offence contravenes Section 24(a)&(b) of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) The prosecutor urged the court to remand the defendant in a correctional centre, pending legal advice from the office of the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP). The Chief Magistrate, Mr Abayomi Adeosun, ordered the remand of the defendant in the correctional centre, pending issuance of legal advice.
