The Kansas City Chiefs continue to reshape the coaching staff under Andy Reid after the close of the regular season. Cox will be aiding the Chiefs as a defensive quality control coach under Steve Spagnuolo's leadership, providing support in the secondary. The Chiefs have worked with Cox before via the Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship in 2022 and 2023. Chris Orr is also currently listed as a defensive quality control coach after serving as an intern in 2024. In other news, the Chiefs have also hired Nate Pagan as an offensive quality control assistant away from Villanova.
