The Detroit Lions signed former Chicago Bears tight end Thomas Gordon to a Reserve/Future contract on Thursday. Gordon, a 6-foot-5, 255-pound tight end out of Northwestern, just completed his rookie season in the Windy City. The Bears signed Gordon as an undrafted free agent at the beginning of August ahead of this past season, but Gordon failed to make Chicago's 53-man roster exiting training camp. Gordon joins a group of nine players that the Lions signed to Reserve/Futures contracts in early January.
