Baseball season is on the horizon, with only 15 days until Florida State opens its first series with James Madison. With baseball in Dick Howser nearing, head coach Link Jarrett and crew took the podium to give a glimpse into the preseason preparation process. Recent Florida Atlantic transfer Trey Beard began the media period by speaking about his role coming into Florida State from the portal and his plan to continue the winning tradition for the ‘Noles. He described the attraction that conversations with Jarrett and pitching coach Micah Posey brought about, along with the recent success of left-handed pitchers such as Jamie Arnold, Joey Volini, and Wes Mendes. FSU begins their season in 15 days as they take on the James Madison Dukes on Friday, February 13th at Dick Howser Stadium.
