A man has been arrested in Mexico in connection with the murder of a man who went missing from Hialeah last year and whose body was later found in a recycling bin, authorities said. Watch NBC6 free wherever you are WATCH HERE WATCH HEREThe 32-year-old faces charges of second-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence in the August 2025 disappearance of Daylon Fleitas Gonzalez. A second suspect, 27-year-old Ariely Alvarez Cabrera, Carballo Gonzalez's girlfriend, was also arrested in Mexico back in September and extradited to South Florida. According to a warrant, Fleitas was meeting with Carballo Gonzalez to receive $10,000 that Carballo Gonzalez owed him. Alvarez Cabrera is currently on house arrest while Carballo Gonzalez remained in custody while awaiting trial.
