It triggers asset freezes, travel restrictions on IRGC members, and a ban on providing funding or resources to the organization. EU Foreign Ministers just took the decisive step of designating Iran’s Revolutionary Guard as a terrorist organisation. The IRGC is the central agency in charge of repression, as well as the export of terrorism and warmongering. As the Iranian Resistance has repeatedly called for over three decades, it should have been designated long ago.
