A former West Linn doctor has settled a civil lawsuit filed by 180 former patients who accused him of sexual abuse disguised as medical care. But with a settlement reached by Farley, his clinic and Legacy Meridian Park, the trial will proceed only against Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center. The suit alleges Providence failed to properly supervise Farley or prevent the abuse. Farley still faces a 16-count criminal indictment charging him with first- and second-degree sexual abuse in Clackamas County Circuit Court. Farley surrendered to police Oct. 10 on a 11-count indictment filed by a special prosecutor from the Oregon Department of Justice.
