A school teacher who paid a young boy to send him nude photos has been sentenced to federal prison. On July 23, 2024, Wilder returned to New York on an international flight and detectives searched his phone. They found a video depicting child sexual abuse and sexually explicit conversations between Wilder and other individuals who identified themselves as minors, federal prosecutors said. After Wilder’s phone was seized, he obtained another cell phone and used it to receive additional files containing child sexual abuse, federal authorities said. He knowingly received child sexual abuse material on the second phone between July 29, 2024, and May 1, 2025, officials said.
