New Jersey districts have announced school closings and delayed openings for Friday as the cleanup continues from a fierce weekend winter storm. Dangerous cold temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend, with wind chills and temperatures in the single digits to below zero, according to the National Weather Service. The weather service is predicting 1 to 3 inches of snow near the coast, mainly in places near and east of the Garden State Parkway, Saturday night into early Sunday afternoon.
