From Richard Akintade, OsogboOsun State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Igbalawole Sotiyo has decorated the 267 officers recently promoted in the 2025 promotion exercise. The decoration ceremony, held in Osogbo, was attended by service commanders, senior officers of the corps and family members of the newly promoted personnel. He also commended the Commandant-General of NSCDC, Professor Ahmed Audi for his visionary leadership and relentless efforts toward improving staff welfare, capacity building and operational effectiveness nationwide. Sotiyo reminded the newly promoted officers that higher ranks come with increased responsibilities, charging them to uphold the highest standard of integrity, professionalism and discipline, while leading by example in the discharge of their duties and ensuring the protection of lives and critical national assets in Osun State. On behalf of the newly promoted officers, Deputy Commandant of Corps, DCC, Ayodeji Olowe expressed gratitude to the federal government, Ministry of Interior, commandant-general and the Osun State commandant for the opportunity and confidence bestowed on them.
