Ms Bell told the county's highways team and the MPs: "The vast majority is plagued by potholes, a rapidly deteriorating surface and uneven repairs that are failing. I think the speed limit should be lowered until significant repairs can be completed." Ms Bell also pointed out that the road is used by children travelling from Somersham to Cromwell Community College in Chatteris, either on school buses or in parents' cars.
