Hatfield Tamil School celebrated Thai Pongal at the Hatfield Breaks Manor Community Centre on 25 January. Expressing gratitude to nature, the sun, and farmers for a successful harvest, the festival mirrored Tamil Culture's traditions, aiming to impart these values to youngsters. Hatfield Central councillor Pankit Shah and Welwyn Hatfield Community Fund trustees Chris Andrews and Cherie Wiper made an attendance, showing support for cultural and community initiatives.
