National chain Millets - based in Stroud High Street - has now officially closed. The outdoor clothing shop and equipment has had several homes in the town over the last decade. Following a recent closing down sale, staff have thanked customers for all their support over the years. Millets has closed its Stroud town centre store (Image: Newsquest)In a statement, staff said: "We are now officially closed, all our stock has been sold, all we have left to do is to move our remaining fittings and fixtures out of the unit. "Thank you for your patronage throughout the years, it's been an absolute pleasure to have been in Stroud for so long, and we hope we contributed to many good walks and memories for you all."
