George Martin, a lecturer in aeronautical engineering, gave a presentation to Keighley & District Men's Forum. He covered the history of the RAF from its foundation in 1918, during the First World War, to the present day. The presentation took members from the organisation's formative period with Lord Hugh Montague Trenchard as first Chief of Staff, and through both world wars – with discussion about the aircraft involved. In-flight videos were also viewed – including a cockpit experience with the Red Arrows aerobatic display team, which was formed in 1965. Keighley & District Men's Forum welcomes new members.
