Liam Moody, aged 34, of Radford Avenue, Kidderminster, appeared at Worcester Crown Court for sentencing following his trial last year. The trial, which was presided over by His Honour Judge Burbidge, concluded on November 28, 2025, where Moody was found guilty of seven charges of historic child sex offences against a victim who cannot be named for legal reasons. This included six counts of rape of a child under 13 and one count of attempted assault of a child under the age of 13 by penetration. At his sentencing earlier this month, Moody was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment for count two - rape of a child under 13. Moody has a total sentence of 12 years imprisonment and will be on the sex offender register for life and must register with police indefinitely.
