LIVE UPDATES: Three people taken to hospital as Conwy Tunnel closed after A55 crashPolice have now issued an update as investigations continue:"The A55 westbound in Conwy remains closed following a serious road traffic collision. "At around midday on Thursday, 29 January, we received a report of a two-vehicle collision involving an HGV and a car at J17 westbound in Conwy Morfa, under the A547 overpass. "Emergency services, including three air ambulances attended the scene and three people have been taken to hospital with serious injuries. "A build-up of traffic remains on the road network as motorists are being diverted. "One lane of the eastbound carriageway has since reopened, with traffic exiting at J17 Conwy Morfa off slip and then re-joining the carriageway on the J17 on slip."
