SUPERIOR — The Superior Police Department released surveillance, squad and body camera footage of a December incident in which a police officer was shot and officers returned fire. The suspect, later identified as Dylan Charles-Edward Wallace, 28, of Superior, reportedly fled the scene in a vehicle and crashed into the doors of Superior Middle School. It shows footage of the call that police say led up to the shooting, then shows a person get out of a van with what appears to be a gun. “Any officer-involved shooting directly affects those involved, but it also affects the broader community,” Winterscheidt said.
