Someone in Worcester sold one of the UK’s most valuable 50p coins and got more than 166x its face value on eBay this month. The coin in question was minted in 2009 and depicts the Chinese pagoda at Kew Gardens in London. Kew Gardens has “over 50,000 living plants”, and it’s a UNESCO World Heritage site.
