Mark Peach, of Gort Road, East Cowes, appeared at the Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (January 27). He denied two charges of intentional strangulation, relating to alleged incidents on October 31, 2024, and on July 5 last year. He was not invited to enter pleas to two further charges of assault by beating, on June 8 and July 5 last year, which prosecutors allege also involved the same teenager, another boy and a woman. Magistrates declined jurisdiction and bailed the 38-year-old to reappear for a plea and trial preparation hearing, at the Isle of Wight Crown Court, on March 9.
