The North Star Nurse Aide Training Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides in-person nursing assistant training in rural northern Crow Wing and Cass counties.
ADVERTISEMENTThe board of directors includes Susan Mathison-Young, Doctor of Nursing Practice and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse-Certified Nurse Practitioner; Annette Lampert, registered nurse; and Amelia Reynolds, certified nursing assistant.
Implementing local nurse aide training programs helps to address these barriers by providing targeted, career-focused instruction in health care.
The North Star Nurse Aide Training Academy uses the approved 75-hour in-person Minnesota Department of Health Nurse Aide Training Curriculum.
