The Colorado Avalanche will be wearing Quebec Nordiques uniforms when they play the Canadiens Thursday at the Bell Centre. It will be in honour of the team that left the provincial capital after the 1994-95 NHL season and moved to Denver, winning the Stanley Cup in the franchise’s first season south of the border.
