A 32-year-old man has been charged after a school-aged child reported being sexually assaulted by a private music teacher over a period of more than three years, Winnipeg police say. The student told police they were sexually assaulted by their music teacher at a private residence on Nairn Avenue near Grey Street. The student told police they were sexually assaulted during music lessons, a Winnipeg police spokesperson told CBC. Jett Russel Panganiban, 32, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching before being released, police said.
