In response, I brought together a series of rural crime summits with national and local police leaders, police and crime commissioners, including our excellent PCC Donna Jones, and neighbouring MPs. Share intelligence, coordinate our response, and take decisive action against criminals who prey on our countryside. We met again a few days ago to review the latest intelligence and assess progress. It demands a determined response. At our latest summit, we looked closely at how specialist technology can strengthen that response by tracking, monitoring and disrupting criminal gangs.
