Dad issued parking fine while visiting dying daughter told 'no grounds' to appeal

Dr Brian Farrington, 89, from Eccleston, was visiting his daughter, Joanne, 55, at The Christie in Manchester in May 2024, where she was being treated for ovarian cancer.
Brian and his wife, were visiting their daughter, Joanne, on the day the ticket was issued.

Brian told the Star: "It's not about the money at all, it was more about what was going on on the day.
The refunded money will be put forward as a donation to the hospital that cared for his daughter, Brian told the Star.
