Callum Rimmer, of Meadow Lane, Parr appeared at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates' Court for sentence on Tuesday, January 19. He had previously pleaded guilty on November 21, 2025, to driving without a licence, driving without insurance and using a vehicle without a valid test certificate. On the same date, he also assaulted a police officer, who was acting in the course of his duties. Magistrates imposed a 24‑week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, after they ruled the offending was so serious "that only a custodial sentence was justified". However, the sentence was suspended due to 30-year-old Rimmer being "a realistic prospect of rehabilitation".
