At around 11.30am on Wednesday (January 28), police received a report that a group of men were riding scrambler bikes around the Wallasey area 'in a dangerous and anti-social manner'. The following people have been arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle: A 27-year-old man from Wallasey, a 31-year-old man from Eastham, a 27-year-old man from Flintshire and a 28-year-old man from Birkenhead. Detective Inspector Sarah Wilkinson said: "This incident highlights how reckless some riders can be when they use off-road bikes, including illegal e-bikes, e-scooters and scrambler bikes, in our communities. "Our officers are committed to keeping our roads safe and taking action against those who use illegal or dangerous vehicles."
