— A Rapid City man was arrested late Wednesday after police say he brandished what appeared to be a handgun at multiple people before being stopped by officers.
ADVERTISEMENTA short time later, officers received another report of a red pickup driver who allegedly brandished a firearm at a pedestrian near 35 Omaha St. before fleeing.
Officers reported finding a BB gun on Everett that was designed to resemble a real handgun.
Witnesses from both reported incidents were brought to the scene and positively identified Everett as the suspect, police said.
Everett was arrested on two counts of simple assault intimidation, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
