Warrington Borough Council issued a parking consultation letter last Tuesday highlighting a proposal to implement parking restrictions along the A49 London Road in Stretton. The owners of two businesses situated on this road - Stretton Post Office and Cheshire Natural Health - are in 'disbelief' at the new proposal. "We at Cheshire Natural Health have worked so hard over the years and we make such a difference to peoples health. Meanwhile postmistress of 11 years at Stretton Post Office, Susan Carter, has echoed these concerns. "Elderly people cannot access banks anymore because they are all closed, so they come to the post office instead.
