The Airts Burns Club held its annual event at Prestonpans Labour Club, welcoming guests to join the celebration of Scotland’s national bard. Councillor John McMillan, Provost of East Lothian, delivered the Immortal Memory and Mick Archibald gave the Toast to the Lassies. Recitations were also provided by Alan Owenson, Ian Jefferies, Jim Baillie, Willie Carroll and Andrew Raeburn. Guests enjoyed songs from Ross Hamilton, Arthur Wilson, Arthur Johnson and Kenneth Ross, and accordionist Graham Andrews. A vote of thanks was then given by Scott Gordon.
