Firefighters from Musselburgh and Newcraighall were called to the Wallyford Junction of the A1 at about 9.35pm. A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service told the Courier that smoke was coming from the vehicle and it was deemed to be a fault with the brakes. Firefighters stepped down at about 10pm.
