The Railway Tavern has been operating under temporary management while owners Star Pubs sought a licensee, with plans for a £100,000 refurbishment to the business, located on the town’s High Street. New management will also come with investment from Star Pubs to upgrade the interior and exterior of the building. A spokesperson for Star Pubs said: "We can confirm that we are in the final stages of agreeing a new lease with a prospective licensee. "This will come with investment from Star Pubs to upgrade the exterior and interior of the pub."
