Residents along the Braintree to Marks Tey route have complained of increased traffic, road features which increase risk, and the 400 HGVs a day for the notorious Rivenhall Incinerator causing problems on the A120. One village resident of 20 years said the whole village noticed the increase in traffic since operations at the waste incinerator began last August. Motorists in Bradwell find it “virtually impossible” at certain times of day to join the A120, particularly if they’re heading westbound. One resident said: ““You can be waiting five to 10 minutes to get out onto the A120,” Ms Barnes said. “More often than not, you have to turn left towards Braintree and then turn right into Riverside to turn around.
