Pakistan continued its strong showing in international squash as Muhammad Asim Khan and Noor Zaman advanced to the round of 16 at the Squash on Fire Open, a bronze-level PSA World Tour event being held in Washington, United States. Muhammad Asim Khan secured his place in the last 16 after a hard-fought five-game victory against England’s Nick Wall. Following this win, Asim Khan is set to face England’s Declan James in the round of 16. Soon after, fellow Pakistani Noor Zaman also booked his spot in the round of 16 with a strong performance in the first round. Noor Zaman will next take on England’s Patrick Rooney in the round of 16.
