Emergency services were called to the shopping park shortly before 11.30am following a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. Police had warned people to avoid the shopping park as the air ambulance was due to land. However, the FlightRadar24 tracker showed the air ambulance was diverted while en route to Broughton to a serious collision on the A55 in Conwy. A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "Shortly before 11.30am today (Thursday, January 29), we received reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at Broughton Shopping Park. "The female pedestrian sustained serious injuries in the collision and was subsequently taken to hospital."
