Emmalyne Downing, prosecuting, told the court that the first incident took place at St. Christopher's School in Wrexham on December 10 of last year. The caretaker added that there was also glass smashed around a window at the school and the classrooms were 'untidy' and patches of blood were found around the school premises. The CCTV footage was reviewed and found that Jones had entered the school via a window at around 1.45am that morning. Judge Nicola Jones sentenced Jones to serve 32 months for the dwelling burglary as the lead offence. He received 12 months for the school burglary, one month for the theft from the car and two months for the assault on the occupant of the home, all to run concurrent.
