Shop owner hit with hefty fine after illegal sale of vape to a child

Mehboob Noormahmad Vaid pleaded guilty at a court hearing following a Wigan Council trading standards investigation.
Greater Manchester Police assisted in bringing the matter to the courts after an officer witnessed the sale in August last year, at the Super Save Store in Bradshawgate in Leigh town centre.

“Trading Standards will continue to investigate any businesses selling age restricted products, such as vapes, to children.
