Girls Basketball: C-I’s Oehrlein makes first cut

BRAINERD — The first cut for the Miss Basketball 2026 was announced Tuesday, Jan. 27, with Crosby-Ironton senior Tori Oehrlein among the list.
Oehrlein, who is Minnesota’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder for girls basketball and will likely become the state’s all-time leading scorer regardless of gender, is one of 38 finalists.
The finalists will be announced Sunday, March 15, following the state tournament.
The winner will be announced at the Minnesota Girls Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Series Banquet Friday, April 10, in Northfield.
The All-Star Series, featuring the top seniors, will play two games following the youth clinic Saturday, April 11, at Carleton College in Northfield.
