While Congressman Paul Tonko on Thursday called for the abolition of ICE, business leaders across the nation on Friday will shut their doors in protest of the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown.
Following recent killings by federal agents, businesses are protesting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Trump administration’s broader crackdown.
Sargent has created an Instagram group chat with local businesses to share details on the strike.
