With the major underpass move now complete and traffic flowing again, construction teams are turning their attention to reshaping key junctions, including the main M27 Junction 10 roundabout. At the Broadway roundabout, the old road surface is being removed on the southbound side, while drainage improvements continue along the A32 Wickham Road. Around 21,000 cubic metres of material excavated during the underpass works has been placed on Fareham Common. This will be used to reshape and landscape the area, with further planting planned as part of Welborne Garden Village’s open space works beginning in the spring. That link is due to open in autumn 2026, when new paths across Fareham Common will connect north Fareham with Welborne.
