Zoopla published its list of the UK’s cheapest places to rent a home in 2026, revealing just how much renters could be paying to live.
Bexley was ranked as the third cheapest borough to rent in London after Sutton, with renters paying an average of £1,638 a month.
Over the past year, the cost of renting in the borough rose by almost five per cent, adding around £70 a month to the average tenant’s rent.
Sitting on the borders of Kent and London, Bexley offers would-be renters slightly more affordability whilst having good links to the city.
Residents can find historic landmarks such as Lesnes Abbey, Red House, and Hall Place, set within scenic gardens and woodland.
