Just last year, a large converted shed was deserted across Pike Lane.
The caravan is understood to have been reported as abandoned on Pea Lane to Havering Council on January 24, prompting an alert to motorists to "take care".
Pea Lane was subsequently closed, with access limited to residents only, whilst the council's highways team worked to deal with the vehicle.
According to Havering Council, it was removed by a "private tow truck" despite arrangements having been made for contractors to remove it.
“However, a private tow truck arrived soon after and removed the caravan and no further action from the council was needed.”Nearby, fly-tipped waste was also discovered by the roadside which the council advised would be removed "early next week".
