Nationwide and Virgin Money have confirmed their branches will continue to operate in Greenock until at least 2030. The announcement was welcomed by Inverclyde MP Martin McCluskey, who visited both branches to meet staff and hear about the important role they play in the local community. The decision will offer reassurance to customers in the area, particularly at a time when bank closures have become increasingly common across the UK.
