Officers from the Inverclyde Priority Policing Team stopped the vehicle while on routing patrol on Quarrier Street on Tuesday. A quantity of cocaine was seized, along with £41,940 in cash. Three men, aged 38, 44 and 59, have been arrested and charged in connection and are due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court at a later date. Sergeant Gary Arthur, Inverclyde Priority Policing Team, said: “This significant recovery highlights our ongoing efforts to rid our communities of dangerous and illegal drugs. “Drugs cause nothing but misery and we will use every tool and tactic at our disposal to bring those involved in their supply to justice.
