Their Majesties will visit Dedham on Thursday, February 5. The Mayor of Colchester, councillor Michael Lilley, welcomed the news, recalling their previous visit and the affection they have shown for the region. Cllr Lilley said: "It is a tremendous honour to welcome Their Majesties back to our city. "We look forward to greeting them again in Dedham and showcasing the spirit, heritage, and warmth that define our city." The King and Queen last visited Colchester in March 2023 to celebrate the city being granted official City Status.
