BRUNSWICK HILLS TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Following the Jan. 13 resignation of Fire Chief Anthony Strazzo, the Board of Trustees appointed Assistant Fire Chief Tim Haas as interim fire chief at its Jan. 27 regular meeting. The Brunswick Hills fire chief position is currently a part-time role. Also at the meeting, retired Broadview Heights Police Chief Steven Raiff was sworn in as a Brunswick Hills reserve police officer. Brunswick Hills Police Chief Tim Sopkovich said reserve officers help him on projects, allowing more time for regular duty officers to spend their time on patrol. Ryan said the individual pages, along with other social media pages devoted to Brunswick and Brunswick Hills, may already reach the same audience as a devoted township trustees page.
