The 40-year-old actor, best known for playing Alfalfa in the 1994 film “The Little Rascals,” gave away his savings and most of his material possessions before moving his wife, Jill, and their five children to an off-grid property, according to the Daily Mail.
The family currently relies on a water well and a generator, with plans to build a house featuring its own hydro-electrical dam.
The lifestyle shift followed a 2020 arrest in Texas for misdemeanor possession after Hall was allegedly huffing air duster cans, Page Six previously reported.
They plan to “strongly discourage them” from attending what he called a “nonsense” formal school or going to college.
After his breakout role in “The Little Rascals,” Hall went on to star in the Disney film “Get A Clue.”
