CINCINNATI — A snowplow driver with the Ohio Department of Transportation is being hailed as a hero after helping an ambulance safely reach a hospital with a sick baby during a winter storm on Sunday. The plow driver, Joe Estes, was on his route when he got a call about the ambulance carrying a baby boy named Bryson. The storm had made the roads dangerous with deep snow and ice, making it hard for the ambulance to get through. “I got a phone call and they said ‘we’ve got a sick baby and we need to get there, we’re losing our window of time,’” Estes said. He added he focused on keeping the road clear so the ambulance could reach the hospital safely.
