The Utah Department of Health and Human Services reported 54 new cases over the past three weeks. Utah is already reporting 42 measles cases this year, for a total of 237 cases during the current outbreak. The Utah Department of Health and Human Services updated its measles statistics on Tuesday. In the last two weeks, Salt Lake County reported 12 new cases and 11 new cases were reported in both the southwest Utah health district and the Utah County Health District. The most recent samples of wastewater detected measles in Salt Lake, Utah, Weber and Morgan counties, as well as in the southwest Utah health district.
