Thames Valley Police (TVP) officers are at Cowley Road and its surrounding streets this afternoon (Thursday, January 29), searching for a man. As many as eight police cars and a fire engine are at the scene with police officers on the major road, as well as St Mary's Road and Crown Street. Two of the streets, Cowley Road, St Mary's Road, and James Street, have been closed down by police officers, with members of the public ushered away. The force is yet to comment on the ongoing situation, but eyewitnesses have said that the man in question has been found on top of a building's roof on St Mary's Road.
