BISMARCK — A new pilot project in North Dakota will benefit the state’s farmers and hunters, according to North Dakota Gov.
During a press conference in Bismarck on Thursday, Jan. 29, Armstrong announced the Governor’s Legacy Soil Health and Habitat Program.

Armstrong said agriculture, conservation and energy groups worked with North Dakota Game and Fish and the North Dakota Association of Soil Conservation Districts to develop the program.
Governor’s Legacy Soil Health and Habitat Program Key dates: Applications for the program will open Monday, Feb. 2, and run through March 27.
